Who Wears the Pants?

This song is hilarious but there is a deep truth in it. At the very least, I hope it brings a smile to your face. If not, you might need to check your sense of humor and see if it needs a tune-up. Is marriage all about "who wears the pants"? Or is it about sacrificial love and put the other first?

I love it! I have a friend whose husband declared to his all male coworkers that he wore the pants in the family. To which they incredulously asked, "How do you know?" He replied, "Because I do the laundry!"

Okay - Melanie has prompted me to change my intended comment - which was simply to let you know that Don Francisco has now been added to my MP3 player.

But I digress:

Rush Limbaugh was in an elevator in a Washington, DC, hotel, when it stopped at a floor and Hillary Clinton stepped in.

When the door closed, Hilary sidled over to Rush, rubbed her shoulder against his, looked up longingly into his face and said, "treat me like a woman, Rush."

Rush Limbaugh then removed his tie, he unbuttoned his shirt and slipped it off. He removed his pants. Standing there in his underwear, he looked Hilary deeply in the eyes and said:

"Could you do the laundry? And bring me a beer on your way back."

Sorry - I couldn't help it.

Melanie,

That is priceless!

Richard,

I love the Rush story!!! Oh my! I would have loved to have been in that elevator to see the look on her face. Did that really happen?

Hi Robbie,

I am glad you liked the song. I thought it was quite funny myself. The wife's retort was quite witty.

I love that song! Have you read any of the articles on their site? They're easy to read, straight to the point, and full of truth.
